Are brown snakes good pets.?

I have 3 snakes that are what I believe to be brown snakes(compared to a google pic they have the same pattern).They are in a 10 gallon fish tank with aspen bedding, a hideaway rock thing, and a water bowl.They are all about the same size.Is this a good habitat? Also, I went to the pet store and the lady said feed them pinkies I tried frozed-thawed but they wouldn't eat them.I also have been feeding them crickets.I am from MA.Any other information on food/habitats/handling them would be great.Thanks
