Improper Window Tint Ticket, but I have a doctors note...?

i have illegally tinted windows(like 17%) and I just recently got pulled over and given a ticket for it. I do have dry eyes, which is caused by excessive sun light. I did go to my doctor and got a letter explaining that the reason i have tinted windows is because of my eye problems(to make sure I can see while I"m driving) but I don"t know if that would be enough proof for the judge or the prosecuting attorney to dismiss the case. What more should I do ?
