Did Florence Joyner, Flo Jo, ever used drugs?

My understanding that she never tested for drugs, but rules pre 1989 were easy to beat and not as stringent. Given the advanced technlogy and the stringent drug policy, did anybody for historical purposes went back and retested samples of Flo Jo. Are there rumors or credible witnesses that can testify of her drug use. I really admire her and I like to know that she was clean for real and she was just a freak of nature.
